This is a pack of 12 amazingly powerful neodymium "rare earth" magnets, with durable nickel plating.
Dimensions: 15mm diameter x 2mm thick. Strength rating is N38. For this shape, brittleness is an issue. N38 has the advantage of being less brittle than N45 and N50.
Neodymium magnets are about 10 times more powerful than traditional ferrite magnets.
These can pull to another (or to smooth, flat, 1.2 mm steel) with a direct pull of abouit 1.8 kg. And between two sheets steel, a single magnet amazingly pulls about 9 kg!
They are great for art, science, and construction projects. Also consider our D6x2, D10x1.5, D12x2, D20x3 sizes.
