This kit makes 15 LED "Throwies". These are battery-powered, glowing, light emitting diode (LED) lights, with magnets attached so that they can be thrown to stick on any steel surface.
The left side of the photo shows 5 of them glowing at night from a refrigerator door.

Price is less than the value of the incredible strength, neodymium magnets!

- Simply as a decoration or conversation piece.
- Excellent for party bags (perhaps already glowing), or a party activity, say asssembling them and tossing them to a wall target.
- Others see them as a form of relatively harmless graffiti.
- Also attach them to clothing (with wires going through to the battery/magnet.
- Educational. An introduction to simple electric circuitry.

Kit Contains:
- Fifteen 10 mm (i.e. large) diameter, diffused LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes). Colours are 3 each of green, blue, yellow, red & white.
- Fifteen CR2032, lithium, 3 volt batteries.
- Fifteen neodymium magnets: 15 mm Diameter x 2 mm thick. (Grade N38)
- Basic Instructions.

You will also need adhesive tape, about 7 cm for each Throwie. Sellotape OK in a dry place. Otherwise electrical or strapping strapping tape.
They take about 1 minute to assemble.

The batteries last a couple of weeks, then gradually fade. Then you can connect the LED's to other batteries, or use the amazingly strong magnets for other projects.

WARNING: Keep the magnets away from small children because if two are swallowed they can cause serious harm. Also keep them a couple of cm from electronics, especially memory devices.
